Superb quality
This kit, combined with the detailed instruction videos and a diligent approach, makes for a wonderful result even if you are a complete beginner to kintsugi. The only thing I wish this kit had was a small cutter like the one Chimahaga uses in the video to scrape excess urushi from the pots, but other than that the kit has everything I needed and was beautifully packaged to boot.

I wish the ぎんつぎ (gintsugi) had been available at the time of purchase. Also it’s a shame some supplies are sold out. It would be nice to be able to get some of the accessories. I can’t wait for my 2nd kit to arrive so I can do the patching on my きんつぎ (kintsugi) project!

Provided a perfect starting place
Very happy with my kinsugi kit. I have started about five pieces to repair- am excited to see the first finished ones, but it is a process. A great lesson in slowing down. The textures I see with my mixes do not quite look like what is in the video and the quantities are small but sufficient. Thank you for the prompt delivery.

Arrived much faster than expected + excellent quality
Was shocked that it arrived in less than two weeks after coming back in stock (I live in USA). The kit is exactly as described on the site and the instructional video is very clear. I’m delighted to be able to bring new life to my broken favorite plate, especially since mending methods that use epoxy glue aren’t food safe. I was worried kintsugi would either be a) only accessible by sending my broken plate to a professional at great expense, or b) be extremely difficult and require lots of practice to master; this kit has proved that neither is true. The process is labor intensive and time-consuming but ultimately very forgiving; all mistakes can be corrected with a little patience. I’m grateful that this kit exists.

Got this item as a gift for my husband. A couple of years ago, we received a ceramic bowl made by my mother in law. During the shipping process, it got damaged. My husband has always wanted to repair it with Kintsugi. I am so excited to present this wonderful kit to him on Christmas!

The communication while planning the order and the handling of it couldn't have been better! The delivery arrived safely, everything was intact. I have not tried the kit yet, because I am watching the tutorial videos first - and they are extremely helpful.
